In article marketing, there is a plethora of ways by which you can increase your earnings. Most of these techniques and systems can be learned pretty easily and usually applied very quickly.

One of the more important ways affiliates can increase their bottom line and boost sales volume is through the use of product recommendations and product reviews. Many marketers are already aware that this is one of the most effective ways to promote products in which they are interested.
If your customers and visitors trust you enough then they will tend to trust your recommendations. Please, be very careful when using this approach, though. If you promote everything by recommendation, your credibility will, over time, wear thin. This effect can be seen, in particular when recommendations are exaggerated and without much merit an, as is often the case, it is obvious that the writer has not even used or seen the product about which he is writing.

Never be afraid to mention anything that you do not like about a product or service; rather than lose any credibility for you, this will often make your recommendation more realistic, when they come, and will tend to increase your credibility and thus overall sales volume.
Furthermore, if your visitors are really interested in what you are offering they will be more than happy to learn what is good about the product, what is not so good and how the product will benefit them - this last point is VERY important - readers need to know how a product will make their life better. If you can show somebody that a product will make life easier, safer, more fun or more wealthy than there is a good chance they will buy that product and through your affilaite link!.

People will still buy through your links even if you mention bad points because, apart from any other reason, the things you might think of as bad may make the product a ‘don’t miss’ for somebody else. Do not assume that all your readers are the same as you!

When you are recommending a product there are some things to remember about how to make recommendations about products work effectively and to your advantage.
Sound like the true and leading expert in your field.
Remember this simple equation: Price resistance diminishes in direct proportion to trust. If your visitors feel and believe that you are an expert in your niche, they are more inclined toward making that purchase. On the other hand, if you do not show confidence and self-assurance in endorsing your products, they will probably feel that same way and will go in search of another product or service which is more credible.
How do you establish this aura of expertise? By offering unique and new solutions they would not get anywhere else. Show proof that what you are promoting works as promised. Display prominent testimonials and endorsements from respected and known personalities, in related fields of course.
Avoid hype at all costs.
It is better to sound low key and confident, than to scream and seek attention. You would not want to sound unprofessional and have that thinking stick to your potential customers and clients, now would you? It is always best to appear cool and self-assured at the same time.
And remember; prospects are not stupid. They are actually in the process of becoming experts and may already know the things that you know. If you back up your claims with hard facts and data, they would gladly put down hundreds, or even thousands of dollars toward to your promotions. But if you don’t, they are smart enough to try and look at your competitors and what they are offering.
Give out promotional freebies.
People are already familiar with the concept of offering freebies to promoting your won products. But very few people do this to promote affiliate products. Try to offer freebies that can promote or even have some information about your products or services.
Before you write recommendations for your chosen product you should (must) try out and test the product and its support. Do not run the risk of promoting junk products and services. Just think how long it took you to build credibility and trust among your visitors. All that will take to destroy the hard won trust is one big mistake on your part.
If possible, have recommendations of products that you have 100% confidence in. Test the product support before you begin to ensure that the people you are referring it to would not be left high and dry when a problem suddenly arises.
Have a look at your affiliate market and look at the strategies you are using. You may not be focusing on the recommendations that your products need to have. You plan of action is sometimes not the only thing that is making your program works.
Try product recommendation and be among those few who have proven its worth.

As you probably already know, writing articles to market your product or service is a great way to build your online business. Your articles should be very informative and provide the reader with information relevant to the specific niche that you are addressing. The article usually includes a link to a webpage for additional information or resources. The webpage is, of course, designed to sell a product or service that relates to the topic of the article.

The most common way in which articles are distributed is through article directorties, websites, and ezine publishers. This is held to be among the most effective ways to market a service or product on the Internet. The effectiveness of conventional article marketing can be enhanced by the use of an autoresponder - a service that will automatically send emails to subscribers without you haveing to do any addional work after the initial autoresponder setup.

You begin by setting each article up in your autoresponder. You must ensure that each article has its own autoresponder address, so you’ll need an autoresponder service that will allow you to do this (Aweber or Email Aces both allow this to happen. Next, make a master list of all your articles, with the autoresponder address for each article listed beside the title. You could even add descriptions of the articles to your master list if you want - that will help when you come back to look at the list in future.

Advertising your articles one by one can take a great deal of time but advertising one autoresponder address – the one for the master list – won’t take very much time at all. All you need to do is to add your master list to your newsletter and/or on your websites You can even allow other ezine publishers to use the list and the articles as an additional free resource for their subscribers!

Obviously this is just a start on the large topic of using autoresponders for article marketing but we will come back to it later.

Many people, perhaps most of us, hate having to write papers or articles. Many folks simply feel as though it is too much work and in any case it all just goes to waste when no one reads the article. To some people even reading articles seems like work too, especially if the article is bland and boring. Of course articles are written to be read, that’s their purpose - to pass on your message and information. If your articles are not read then you have wasted all your time and effort.

All the same, articles have to be written in order for them to be read, it is just a matter of making them good enough to be read. Writing a good article doesn’t have to be strenuous or difficult there are just some points that writers need to be reminded of and some simple guidelines to follow. Once you get the hang of it, writing articles can be fun, as well as profitable for you and your article marketing business.

Of course, writing articles is easier when writing about a subject about which you are familiar, of course, for many of us our sites are already based upon a topic about which we know at least a little. When you write about a familiar topic you won’t have a hard job writing because you already know your subject. Knowledge of the topic enables us to concentrate on making your articles creative and interesting.

To make sure that your articles get read and enjoyed by more people I have prepared a list of six top tips to get your articles read. These tips will make your articles readable and interesting.

1) Use short paragraphs. When paragraph are very long the words get mixed up in the mind of the reader, just looking at long paragraphs can get quite confusing and appear too much like hard work to read. Your readers will quickly disregard the paragraph and move on to easier reading articles that are good to look at as well being good to read. Paragraphs can be as short as a single sentence, sometimes even a single word can be enough!

2) Use Sub-headings to sub-divide your paragraphs within the article. Doing this will break each point into sections, making for easier reading, but still would be incorporated into one complete article. Subheadings make it easy for the reader to move on from one point to the next, the transition becomes smooth and easy. You will not lose the attention of your readers and they will more easily be able to understand the pints you are trying to make and understand the purpose of the article - making it easier for readers to take desired actions such as clicking through to your own web pages or perhaps an affiliate offer that pays you a commission for sales.

3) Keep your readers interested from start to finish. Starting with your opening paragraph try to use real life situations that your readers can identify with. Use good, clear descriptions and metaphors to drive home your point, just don’t over do it, write in a natural, perhaps conversational tone. Driving your examples with graphic metaphors and similes makes it easy for your readers to imagine what you are talking about; making the experience both pleasurable and enlightening for them.

4) Use numbers, when necessary, to make a point and not just ordinary, insipid statements. Using specific facts and figures can improve the appeal of your article because it makes it appear authoritative; at the same time do not make your writing too formal, it should be light and easy and flow naturally; like a friendly teacher having a little chat with a keen student.

5) Make use of numbers or bullets or bullet points to highlight the sections of your article. As each point is stressed out, numbers and bullets can quickly make the point easy to remember and digest. As each point, tip, guide or method is started with a bullet or point, readers will know that this is where the tips start and getting stressed. Format your bullets and numbers with indentations so that your article will not look like a single block of square paragraphs. Add a little bit of flair and pizzazz to the shape of your articles as they appear on the page.

6) Provide an attention-grabbing title or header. If your title can entice a reader’s curiosity you’re already halfway toward getting a person to read your article. Use statements and questions in your titles that utilize keywords which people are using in their searches. Provide titles or headers that describe your article’s content but keep your article titles short and concise.

Use titles like, “Tips on getting your ex back”, or “How to make her love you for ever”. You could use titles that can command people, for example, “Make him love you in six easy Ways”. These types of titles reach out to a person’s emotions and make them more interested, particularly if the title offers an answer to the reader’s problems.

These tips are just a start, there are others, I am sure. If you have suggestions please add them as comments to this article!

Writing an article does not simply mean putting down one’s thoughts into words then typing out the words on a computer. You, the writer, must capture and hold the interest of your readers and get them to keep on reading to the end and maybe even get them to take an action at the end of their reading. To get your message across you need to grab the attention of the reader, have a firm grasp of their interest and intrigue them.

The main ingredient in baking up an article is a large dose of creativity. While creativity may come naturally to some people, many would-be writers drive themeselves half crazy becasue they get a mental block that stops their creativity dead in its tracks. Many writers have metaphorically torn their hair out when they get writers block and just can not get their creative juices flowing.

Putting words into images in the readers mind is an art. A clear and crisp depiction requires a certain flair that only creativity can provide. Similes and metaphors help a lot, but the way an article gets built word by word, sentence by sentence and then paragraph by paragraph into a whole article requires a creativity that has to be carefully fostered and developed.

So just what do you have to do when nothing comes to mind? There are no surefire ways to get the perfect idea but there are easy ways to get your creative juices flowing. No one can guarantee you having the perfect mindset when you sit down to write but many methods may aid you in achieving that state of mind.
Here are five easy ways to get your creative mind working.

1) Always keep a diary or a journal with you. Ideas can be triggered by anything you might remember, hear, see, or smell. Your senses are your radar to find great article ideas. Write all your ideas into a journal and keep it with you for future reference. You may also write down something that you have read or heard, someone else’s ideas might be used to develop your own writing - this is not stealing or plagiarism! Remember that ideas and creativity can come from anywhere; it’s your development of your idea that makes it unique to you.

2) Relax and take some time to sort things out. A jumbled mind cannot create any space for new ideas. Writers must have a clear mind if they wish to have their creativity in full flood. Get rid of all obstacles that can hinder your creativity. If you are bothered by something, you cannot force your mind to stay focused.

Try to relax every time that you can and think about your experiences and interactions with others. Your experiences are what shape your mindset and your opinions which could be reflected on your writings. Try to discover yourself, find out what triggers your emotions. Discover what inspires you and what ticks you off. You can use these emotions to help you in expressing yourself and your ideas, with this you can grow creatively.

3) Create a working place that can inspire your creativeness. Your working place can be quite a hindrance if it doesn’t make you feel happy or relaxed. Creativity comes from being in a good state of mind and a messed up workplace that causes distraction won’t be conducive in firing up your creative flow.

Surround your working place with objects that makes you happy and relaxed. You may put up pictures, or scents, objects that inspire, or anything that can get your creativeness cranking. A clean and well organized workplace also rids of distractions and unwanted hindrances. With a good working place, you can work in peace and never notice the time pass by.

4) Set the mood. Setting the mood requires you to just go with the moment or to induce your self to feeling what makes your mind works best. Finding out what makes you tick could help you find ways to get your creative juices flowing. Set the pace and tempo for your mood and everything else will follow.

There are many ways to set the mood. Some writers have been known to use alcohol, a little sip of wine to stir up the imagination. Some would like some mood music while others let the lighting of the environment create the mood.

5) Go on a break, even if for just a few hours and just do something crazy. Letting yourself go and have fun produces adrenaline that can help your imagination run wild. Take an adventure or a solemn hike. Whatever it is that is a break from your daily routine can take you out of the rut of your normal schedule. In no time at all, your creativity will make use of that experience and get your imagination to go into overdrive.

So, there you go, five ways to get the juices flowing - most importantly though remember that good writing flows from a good mental attitude. All the techniques above are about improving mental attitude.
Who knows, taking a break from yourself and your routine might help more than just your writing, some of my best business ideas have come when I have been taking a little break from life and working on my own mind.

What this tool does is enable you to take content from TPW and at the same time they will build backlinks to the posts from The Phantom Writers

I wrote in much more detail about this tool here: Backlink Magnet.

I see this a a neat complement to tools such as Article Marketing Automation from Marc and Dan at PLRPro not a replacement for it, after all, we can all use more decent content and backlinks, right?

To all you writers and would be writers out there, it is time to start renewing or developing your creative writing skills.

Information-based marketing, which is one of the oldest and most effective techniques in getting targeted prospects to sites and converting them into buyers, is right at the forefront of modern web based communication. This is why article writing, submission and publication has become so very popular.
There are many tools that article marketers can use to make the process of distributing their articles more easily. Although this is invaluable in getting the contents more exposure this is only half the story.
Let us first take a look at some mistakes that many people make even before submitting their content to article directories:
1. Confusing the reason to promote the articles with the reason to write them.
In article writing, there are three key reasons why you are using articles as a promotional tool; branding, lead generation and promotion, which are all part of your optimization effort.
However, there is only one reason why you write an article, and that is to inform your audience. If the article is not focused on this primary and most important purpose, your article will fail to achieve the three promotion benefits because no one will be interested in reading it.
You need to figure out first how to get people to read what is in your article, then make them click on your resource box. You can achieve this by producing better quality content.
2. Failing to maximize the promotional opportunities of article marketing.
You may already know that your articles can help you to get additional backlinks to your web pages but were you aware that it was possible for your to get more visitors and better search engine rankings from those same articles?
a) Mention keywords at strategic places, just be careful not to overdo it - if the article reads natuarlly then you are probably safe in the eys of the search engines. Some writers are even using anchor text links in their articles - also an effective method; sadly it is important to know that majority of the directories are not able to support this.
b) Remember that is just about the backlinks to your webpages or sites. Part of doing well in your article marketing is getting picked up by publishers with a large readership and gaining the ability of leveraging the traffic of other sites through the republication/syndication of your work.
Better search engine results also are great benefits.
These benefits will not put very much money into your bank account; there are other factors that will turn your article marketing efforts into a profit opportunity as opposed to simply increasing the number of visitors to your web pages.
Set out a plan and see to it that your article will best serve the function that you intended it to have.
3. Publishing content that does not help your readers.
Perhpas in the process of article writing you are thinking that all you want is backlinks to your pages and additional visitors are a pleasant bonus.
But, guess what? Not all article banks and directories will publish your content automatically, often they have guidelines and specifications as to the content that they will accept.
You can double the number of sites you can submit to by writing articles that the directories want to share with other people; all it takes is one publisher who takes your article and syndicates it one site or email list with a hundred thousand readers to increase your potential audience overnight.

Write articles that publishers want in their publications if you want your article marketing to work in the most effective way for you. This also means you have to obey the standard guidelines, do spell checking, good research on a worthwhile topic and even hiring writers to produce a good content on your behalf.
At the final analysis, it is all really a matter of choice on your part. You can start getting a little exposure from increased links back but on a very basic level. Or enjoy massive exposure from a little extra time producing high quality content.
The outcome is down to your choice. You may not be aware of the fact that an article submitted on an article directory is not meant to have the same level of exposure as highly-targeted content on a site aimed at a narrow group of people (niche).
Learn the difference between these two modes and it will surely help you know what kind of articles to write and to submit.

There are many ways to produce articles without writing them yourself this article outlines a few of them:

1) Using a ghostwriter is one way

2) Private label rights articles you have bought is another option

3) Expert interviews with people of authority in your target niche

4) Borrowing another writer’s article for use is yet another way to provide content for readers. Give the original author credit within the body of your article and fill in the rest with quotes from that author’s article. Make sure that you have the right to do this with every article that you plan to use!

This method is a win/win situation for everyone. You don’t need to do the writing of your articles, the writer who wrote the original article gets free publicity, and the reader gets the information that they want or need. Everybody wins.

5) Using public domain articles that are related to your subject is yet another way. Permission from the author to use their work isn’t necessary for public domain content; letting your readers know where the content originated will keep their trust. Don’t try to pass the words off as your own.

6) Use survey results from a self-conducted survey as the basis of an article. This method does mean you will have to write a little, but compiling the results and turning it into a fast article isn’t too hard or time-consuming. You can create surveys through Survey Monkey at www.surveymonkey.com .

7) Use government provided information. Articles written by United States Government Authors are automatically in the public domain. The government’s writers are very prolific and write on a wide variety of topics. Visit any United States Government website and you will be greatly surprised with the amount of information that is free for the taking.

As you have seen, providing quality articles without writing a single word, or with just a bit of writing is possible. The information and means are there, please use them.
